Lead Designer
Design Accra, Ghana Full-time
We're looking for a talented Lead Designer to shape the visual identity and user experience of our products. You'll work directly with clients and our development team to create beautiful, functional designs that solve real problems.
✓ Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Maintain and evolve our design system and brand guidelines
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to building our design culture
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders with confidence
! Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in digital product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
- Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms
- Understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience working with clients and translating business needs into design solutions

- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Motion design and animation skills
- Experience in the African tech ecosystem
- Fluency in local Ghanaian languages
